Late Show Bucks
It seems every year, just when I think I have the entire local deer herd captured on camera and my hit list complete, a new buck will show up. Many times, these new bucks appear when food sources are getting scarce and bucks are roaming, looking to re-fuel after a long rut. These “Late Show Bucks” are prime examples of why you should never be to eager to shoot a buck in early season and why, If you have a tag, you may be the lucky one.
Here are a few bucks from previous years that showed until late season for the very first time and hopefully, encouragement for those of you who still have tags left to fill. My next article: The Season Grind; Second Chance Bucks will provide you with even more fuel to propel you into a successful late season! If that’s not enough, Chris Dunkin connected on a great late season buck and his video will be on Trophy Pursuit soon!
